Villa
Contessa Marianna is part of a group of buildings
and lands on the Bonaparte knoll. Its
name is due to the fact that was an ancient property
of the Bonapartes family in San Miniato. It
was the family of the most famous Napoleone.
In 1701 Maria Maddalena Bonaparte received it as
a dowry going married in this year to a noble Bonaccorsi.
In 1805 the country-house was given to the family
of the present owners, maintaining the historical
documentation and many furniture of the day. Nowadays
the property has been completely restored and it
is an exclusive residence for those looking for
an historical and relaxing holiday. |
